Did a short trip to Israel from Cyprus many years ago, and you photographs being back memories of it. I remember too the orange groves as we drove from the port to various places, and our bus with numerous security people who went into a frenzied panic when two of our party got lost in the Arab quarter.
So interesting to read about that! It is always interesting to realize how much your experience in a certain place is so shaped by the time you visit it! 🙂
Great photos! I really like the one with the man lighting the candles. Did you ask permission first to take this and other such photos? Or did you shoot first and ask questions later?
Thank you so much! I Actually just saw it and took a Photo, It was really about the moment, I guess it is usually best to ask, but sometime you would loose the shot!
Thank you for the comment 🙂
I just visited Israel too. It was beautiful! We intended to visit Jerusalem but money was too tight 😦 http://redsailstakeme.wordpress.com/2014/10/01/i-❤%EF%B8%8F-tlv/
