If you missed the first post about Cappadocia go here.
I hate mornings. My days are better when starting after 10. That is waking up time. However there are a few things, very, very few, that will get me out of bed before that time on my free will. One of them is balloons. Hot air balloons in Cappadocia at least.
Despite not being able to afford a hot air balloon ride (starting at 130 euros) I was set on seeing them take off. Even if that meant to wake up at 5.30 am and climb a hill for half an hour.
After a lot of doubting my decision, for about that half an hour of climbing, we got up there and there they were. I felt like a small child. The balloons were amazing, beautiful! The whole scenery was more that I could have asked for. I took more than 300 pictures that morning. I can’t describe how amazing that was. Hopefully my pictures might.

Obrigada tio!!
What a fabulous experience. I’d love to try this 🙂
I can’t recommend it enough! I hope you get to do it sometime 🙂
It may have been a chore for you to get out of bed so early, but it’s a delight for us to see your photographs. And I’m sure you must have enjoyed seeing all these balloons rising into the dawn sky.
Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed the pictures! And it was a wonderful experience! completely worth getting out of bed for 🙂
I’d love to see this in person (though I agree about getting up before 10am)- these definitely make for some amazing photographs though!
I hope you get to do it sometime – and I can promise it will be worth the effort of getting up early! I am glad you liked the pictures!! 🙂
Definitely worth waking up early :). Too bad the ride is this expensive. I’m sure it’d be an amazing experience as well 😉
Definetly – I can only say if I had a bigger budget Iwould definetly go for it! 🙂
